In celebration of its 5th anniversary, Study Bridge School in Obuasi has donated items worth over GH₵3000 to the Obuasi Central Prison and the Adullam Orphanage. The gesture was part of the school’s anniversary activities, aptly dubbed “Charity Day.”

Sheffield Sam Hayford, the headmaster of Study Bridge School, emphasized that the donation reflects the school’s commitment to giving back to the community.

“We believe in instilling values of empathy and generosity in our students,” he stated, underscoring the importance of such initiatives in the school’s ethos.

The donation included essential items such as cash, water, assorted drinks, toiletries, and gently used clothing. These contributions are expected to provide much-needed support to both the inmates at the Obuasi Central Prison and the children at the Adullam Orphanage.

Study Bridge School, which caters to over 400 students starting from crèche, is also marking a significant milestone this year by presenting its first batch of Junior High School (JHS) 3 students for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The 5th anniversary celebration will take place on August 2, 2024, and promises to be a memorable event, celebrating both the school’s achievements and its ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
