Kofi Akpaloo, LPG Presidential Candidate- Left and Mrs. Margaret Obrian Sarfo, Running Mate- Right
Ghana- Accra: The newly elected running mate for the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Mrs Margaret Obrian Sarfo has called a bluff of some male politicians who insult women called into high offices in politics.
According to her, politicians who engage in such acts are not ‘matured’.
Speaking in an interview with Maame Yaa Boakye on Top 103.1 FM midday news, Mrs. Sarfo admitted that some ‘childish’ politicians have started attacking her personality just a day after her appointment.
Additionally, she expressed excitement over the selection of a female running mate for the National Democratic Congress saying it is a call in the right direction.
“Women are better leaders”, she added.
Mrs. Margaret Obrian Sarfo at a conference on Tuesday July 21 was chosen by the LPG to be the running mate for Presidential candidate Mr. Kofi Akpaloo.
She now attains the number 3 of females who have been selected to be running mates of some political parties including Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman on the ticket of the NDC and Bridgette Dzogbenuku on the ticket of the PPP in Ghana.
