In a world increasingly shaped by digital interactions, the role of social media in the lives of young people has never been more significant. Recognizing this, Young & Wise Global, a Christian human capital development organization, is set to hold a workshop aimed at educating students on the impact, benefits, and risks of social media. The event, titled “Mine Gold in You Project,” will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at King’s Covenant Life Chapel (Hammond Temple) in Obuasi Nyameso.
The workshop will feature a range of activities including a talk, a hands-on workshop, and an open forum discussion. These sessions are designed to help students navigate the complex world of social media, equipping them with the knowledge to leverage its benefits while avoiding its pitfalls. The event will be led by key speakers such as Charles Wundengba, Stephen Appiah, and Rev. Abraham Hammond, who is the CEO of Young & Wise Global.
Young & Wise Global is known for its commitment to assisting the youth in overcoming various psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual challenges. Charles has been involved in several youth-focused initiatives and brings a wealth of experience in guiding young minds to use social media as a tool for personal and professional growth.
