In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and community support, Odeneho Kofi Appianin Ennin, an independent parliamentary aspirant for Obuasi West, has stepped forward to aid a family devastated by fire burns. Last week Thursday, heavy downpours wreaked havoc in the quiet suburb of Koffekrom, leaving behind a trail of destruction that included numerous properties.

The affected family, grappling with the aftermath of the incident, received a lifeline when Mr. Appianin learned of their plight. Hosted on Aseda FM’s morning show, he wasted no time in taking action. Swiftly releasing 5,000 Ghanaian cedis (GHS) from his own resources, Mr. Appianin demonstrated his commitment to alleviating their suffering.

The presentation took place at the Aseda FM premises, where the General Manager, Nana Kwaframoa Ennin, stood in for Odeneho Kofi Appianin Ennin. Alongside them were Mr. Francis Antwi, the CEO of Aseda FM, and Obarima Kojo Gyamfi, the Morning Show Host. Their presence underscored the collective effort to provide solace and assistance during this challenging time.

Tragically, two children from the affected family sustained burn injuries when the roof of their house collapsed during the heavy rainfall. Their pain and struggle have not gone unnoticed, and Mr. Appianin’s donation aims to ease their burden.
