Jhijhi Declared the Winner of The Model International 2024

In a spectacular grand finale held Sunday, 25th August, 2024 at East Legon in Accra, Jhijhi was the winner of “The Model International 2024.” This reality TV show, known for its demanding challenges in commercials, runway, and photo modeling, showcased the exceptional talents and resilience of 16 contestants. Jhijhi emerged victorious from a competitive field of nine finalists, demonstrating her outstanding skills and charisma throughout the season.

The journey to declare was grueling. Contestants faced a diverse array of tasks designed to test their versatility and adaptability. Jhijhi excelled in several challenging scenarios, including a daring bikini shoot, a nerve-wracking task with a live snake, and a provocative lingerie shoot. She also showcased her talents in fashion shows, body painting, and a range of themed shoots, from bridal wear to maternity.

Out of the original 16 models, which included Tiana, Radwoa, Dzifa, Mirababy, Giata, Benewaa, Sitso, Titoe, Abynah, Selacy, Joyce, Sweet Priscy, Kukua, Doris and Jamila, nine made it to the grand finale. Each finalist displayed exceptional poise and talent, but Jhijhi’s standout performances set her apart from the rest. Her ability to adapt to various modeling scenarios and her captivating presence made a lasting impression on both the judges and the audience.

About Jhijhi

Belinda Sedofia, a 24-year-old student from Mafi-Aflavenu, stands at 5’7″ and has talents in public speaking, acting, and writing stories. Fluent in English and Ewe, she enjoys taking photos and has achieved recognition as the second runner-up in Miss African Beauty Ghana. Belinda has worked with TV3, Express Petroleum Limited, and Dando Manufacturing Limited on various ad and corporate shoots.

In The Model International, she overcame challenges like balancing her exams with competition tasks and tackling her first body painting task. A memorable highlight was winning the first task and receiving VIP tickets to TGMA. Through the competition, she has improved her runway skills and learned to manage unexpected situations. Jhijhi’s modeling philosophy is to “Do it with delusion until it becomes reality,” and she aspires to be a globally recognized model, working with top brands like Vogue and Valentino. Her role model is Kendall Jenner.
