Extraordinary Summit of ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) in Ghana

Accra, Ghana
An extraordinary summit of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS): East), will be held on June 4th, 2022, in Accra, Ghana. At the center of this meeting of the Heads of Member States of this organization is mainly the situation in Mali.
Also, the different situations following the military coups in some countries of the sub-region are very worrying for ECOWAS. Indeed, the military in power in Mali, Guinea Conakry and Burkina Faso, seem to take a different look than ECOWAS on these subjects.
Despite the various sanctions against Mali, the military authorities of the transition at the head of its various states want long transitions. For this, ECOWAS will meet on June 4th, 2022, in Accra, Ghana, to find a way out of the crisis.
